National cybersecurity exercise “Medus Pods 2024” concluded

The annual National Cyber Security Exercise “Medus pods” was held in February to enhance capabilities to respond to cyber threats, identify needed improvements, and promote civil-military cooperation in cyber defense of national critical infrastructure. The exercise tested cybersecurity in a number of key sectors in several companies and organisations.

More than 100 cybersecurity experts from the defense sector, including the National Guard Cyber Defense Unit, the Joint Headquarters of the National Armed Forces, the State Police of Latvia and CERT.LV participated in the exercise. The exercise provided an insight into the preparedness, resilience and response capabilities of the participating units, organizations and companies.

The exercise has been held since 2020 in cooperation with the National Armed Forces, CERT.LV, the Ministry of Defense and representatives of Latvian industry.
