The 6th iteration of the annual cyber exercise Crossed Swords in Riga, Latvia, brought together more than 120 technical experts, Cyber Commands´ members, Special Forces operators and military police.
According to the decision of the President of Latvia and Chapter of Orders of 18 October 2019, CERT.LV Genreal Manager Baiba Kaskina will be awarded with Three-Star Order.
Cybersecurity conference CyberChess 2019 will be held on October 2nd and 3rd, 2019 in Riga, Latvia. Topics: evaluation of cyber-risks, cyberspace monitoring, open source intelligence, new technologies and related challenges, and state level actions.
In the time frame of this report CERT.LV registered 491,974 threatened unique IP addresses, provided the necessary support to both the public, private sector and law enforcement authorities in dealing with incidents, participated in 127 different events and educated nearly 8,000 people.
